We are now in Sydney, about to finish our placement, everyone at the hospital has been really nice and welcomed us with open arms. It is pretty similar to home with afew subtle differences to keep it interesting!
At the weekend we went to the city for the first time, we went under the bridge on a rier ferry, it's bloody massive! Goodness knows how Im gonna be able to get up it but will cross that next week!! We had a great day shopping round the Rocks area in lovely street markets and had a delicious lunch. We have booked NY eve at a restaurant overlooking the harbour, its costing a fortune but heyho, its a once in a lifetime!!!
On Sunday we went to a wildlife park, we saw our first Koalas, we got to stroke them we also got to feed some emus and kangeroos! It was a bit sad to see them in a zoo thing especially the crocodile but I think most of them were rescue cases.
On the way home the heavens opened we got soaked in our shorts and vests much to the amusement of the security guard at the accomodation!
This weekend we are going to the blue mountains with a girl we met on placement and to a bbq so I hope the weather picks up!!
