After the excitement of the Lion King we decided to have a quieter day and visit the natural history museum at Kensington. This involved more bus and train rides although the novelty is beginning to wear off now. Mum and Dad were a lot more impressed than the kids with the displays, particularly the dinosaurs and the gigantic Blue Whale. Mia was the most interested but after a couple of hours they had had enough so it was back on the tube to visit Uncle Simon and Aunty Aimee for lunch. By the time we got back in the evening we were all exhausted.
The next day Nana looked after Flynn and Mia while Abbey, Mum, Dad, Uncle Tim and Tom went ice skating at Guildford. Abbey took to it straight away and was soon whizzing around the rink. She reckoned it was all the practice she had had with Kristin on their roller blades that made her so good. We then met up with the rest of the family at Teddington for lunch before Dad had a game of tennis with Tom and Tim and the girls went for a swim at the pools.
