Getting to Copenhagen
So my trip began with running behind schedule, of course. Dripping with sweat when the taxi shows up, half in the road, half in my busy street. I have a fairly long walkway filled with stairs and of course the driver just sat in his car as I made my way to him. 1st I have to ask him to pull into the driveway so I don't get run over, 2nd have to ask him to open the trunk (in which he is still in the car)so I put my own luggage in the taxi, 3rd he doesn't know how to get to the metro so I have to tell him and then he when he tells me the price it is more than the meter because I used the trunk, so he made money off of that just by popping the trunk. Usually I tip well, but this guy didn't get a cent.
Anywho, the rest of the trip to the airport went smoothly as did check in, security and boarding. Scandinavian Air has great service and you don't feel as if you are a sardine in a can:) when it came time for drinks and a snack, I ordered a sprite and the flight attendant said with vodka yes, to which I had said no. But he wasn't taking no for an answer and I ended up with a stiff drink. When I said no to vodka for dinner I thought I hurt his feelings, lol. I had read the Scandinavians like their drinks. While waiting for my luggage I heard some people talking about how they really wanted you to drink on the flight and it made me snicker to myself.
Customs was a breeze, no one in front of me, they said good morning, stamped my passport and told me to have a nice day, took all of 5 minutes.
So I gathered my luggage and found a Starbuck'sfor my morning latte (almost $10,a little pricey, even for the airport). The metro was easy to use, even with no English instructions and I easily found my stop for the bed and breakfast I am staying at for a couple of days. It was about a ten minute walk to the place and as I am walking this woman stops pulls her pants down enough for me to see her entire bare ass and proceeds to go to town scratching deep in the butt, this would be the unique Ursula moment. And not just a little scratching, but full on minutes of deep scratching and exploration. Oh well what can you do but wash your hands after interaction in public spots haha.
I haven't starting exploring yet, but when I do, I will post pics and more.
Peace off and cheers
