What a wonderful day! Had a beautiful breakfast at the Park Hotel and said goodbye to all the beautiful people we have been in contact with. Went to the airport and finally arrived at Oslo, Norway. Feelings overwhelm me at the moment. Finally I am in my Fathers Homeland. Caught a cab to the hotel only to find that the Norwegian Rellies had gone to the train station to meet us. Betty went to the train station to look for them without success. Played cards in the hotel room until they arrived. What a wonderful welcome, many many hugs. Went to a Pizza House for tea where we spent the night relating many stories and drinking red wine and beer. It was a bitter sweet night in Oslo. The night was filled with so much sorrow as thousands of people of so many races marched with flowers to show respect to the many young people who had lost their lives in such a senceless killing spree. People of Oslo I salute you and applaud your courage and spirit. Back to the hotel where we spent the night again telling stories and drinking. So much laughter and love in the room. I love my Norwegian Rellies.

Post script: I am loving travelling with my mother!!! Amazing service at the airports, straight through all lines, customs etc, airport staff to push or drive us around and also look after our luggage, no walking, taxi waiting for us. Amazing - this is the life! BD
