Solo Traveller
Today I travelled from Whyalla passing through Port Augusta, Port Pirie, Crystal Brook and spending the night in the caravan park at Snowtown.
Snow town is an historical town, very old but well preserved buildings, the town was founded in 1876. The area is known for wheat, wool and fat lambs.
This is the place of the "bodies in the barrel murders". Eleven bodies were found in 1999 in barrels of acid stored in the old bank.(not sure I would have been so interested to stay here if I had known this!!). To morrow I will keep traveling towards Port Victoria.
While traveling today from Port Augusta I had a ongoing distant view of the beautiful Flinders Rangers, they seemed to go on forever.
