Ok so the rest of yesterday was spent wandering along the cliff-front in Miraflores.  We saw a few people doing paragliding and we're quite tempted to give that a go once we reach the Sacred Valley in Cusco.  For lunch we ventured into a modern-looking fish restaurant at the top of the cliffs. Ok, well finally made it to Peru! The journey was something else! 12 hours on a plane is not my idea of fun! However there were a few highlights including the comedy security staff in Heathrow as well as coming into Lima over the Andes. Ok, so I have a little bit of time on my hands having packed, repacked and packed again! I'm currently still in the UK preparing for my trip which leaves on October 17th. Kim and I will be flying to Lima, via Madrid (Spain) and will be staying at Hostal el Patio in the Miraflores quarter of Lima. We will be staying there for a few days before making our way South, probably by plane, into the Andes to the city of Cuzco.
