Even though there are 35 mph winds outside of the tent it is still 100 degrees inside which led to an early start and a tired morning. Our first stop is the visitors center where we found out these winds are like this every day. After educating ourselves in the visitor center we drove the 'loop' of the Badlands. Formations of ranging sizes and ages went on for miles. The white rock against the green praire grasses looked like a ribcage of old erroding hills. The rock errods at high rates due to the loomy mud and intense weather conditions.
We also went through sage grass wilderness road which consists of dirt roads and a 55 mph speedlimit. Subey was happy. This section of the park is where the bison roam. Everyone should check out the Badlands, Once. It is called the Badlands afterall.
