Well my arrival in to Australia was certainly adventurous, had a mad old couple sat behind me who decided an hour into the flight to pour their glasses of wine over the young couple sitting next to me for no real reason other than their chairs were tilted back?!? I tired to calm the woman down as apparently she doesn't like small spaces or flying but she was crazy, calling me a b**** and the couple very name under the sun - absolutely ridiculous behaviour really! The flight attendants ended up moving me and the couple to Business class to apologize for the woman's behaviour which was soooo cool - had a automotive reclining seat into a bed, back massager, champagne etc. for the rest of my flight (13+ hours). Hit the jackpot J Despite sleeping on the flight, was absolutely shattered for the next couple of days but still toured some of the sights of Sydney, rocks was very nice for lunch and enjoyed the botanical gardens and Opera House. Going to tour the harbour on my return to Sydney and ferry about to see the sights. Family are all well in Sydney, Parramatta is nice and transport is good to get to and from Sydney - Mia is gorgeous, walked her around the garden to keep her happy on Friday and saw parakeets just flying about so close J Looking forward to going back after my trip and exploring some more J
On my tour now and it's absolutely chucking it down in Byron Bay, hasn't stop raining all day so slightly disappointed as no opportunity to relax on the beach, but the town is nice with lots of little shops so still having fun. Met a good group of people on the tour, lots of giggles and drinking already. Myall Lakes where we stayed Saturday and part of Sunday was absolutely stunning - had a water front lodge with three girls which was fab and had views that were just out of this world. Woke up early Sunday morning and just sat on the deck over the water watching the mist rise and the black swans swimming along - very peaceful. Went Kayaking on the lake which was good fun, didn't fall out which I consider lucky as have been rather accident prone whilst travelling, lol - decided not to take my camera out on the lake as I've been very accident prone recently (which is usual for me) but got some good shots of the lake which I'll try and upload soon. Had a BBQ on the Saturday night and got to know the group (27 people in total - Canadian's, Dutch, German, Scottish, Welsh, English) and finish up the wine we brought in the hunter Valley - all very good. Had a long drive (8 hours) from Myall Lakes to Bryon Bay but stopped along the way and saw some amazing scenery, can't get over the diverse terrain of Australia, absolutely gorgeous country. Visited the beach at Bryon Bay briefly yesterday as the sun was setting and all I can say is wow!! Completely the opposite today in the heavy rain and misty water but still stunning, thinking of going in the sea still later on with the girls for some fun. Hoping that the weather improves in the morning before we leave so I can get some good snaps, all plans for a tan have gone today, lol. Heading to the gold Coast tomorrow so maybe a chance to tan there J
Will upload photo's soon and write again soon J
