Hello!
We're in bangkok currently, but only for a few more hours. This is our 5th and last time here, and so we've said goodbye to the places that matter to us. Namely, Oh My Cod english resteraunt (best breakfasts ever), Svensons (ice cream heaven), and Centre Khao San, the bar bang in the middle where we always go to chill out or meet up with people. And let us not forget the Pad Thai ladies, source of many a cheap noodle and egg based meal.
We got back from Kanchunabury (not how its spelt but oh well) yesterday. We stayed within walking distance from the Bridge over the river Kwai (very famous WW2 battle). At night they have an amazing fireworks sounds and lights show renacting the battle on its anniversary. Make no mistake, it is VERY loud and well worth a visit.
Highlight of Kanchunabury being the Tiger Temple. This place has a canyon into the rock where tigers are kept, treated from injured cubs and and fairly tame. Photos coming of us stroking the tigers. They are Huge!
Couple of hours and we are off to Khao Sok national park to do some rainforest trekking (hopefully) and then on to Koh Phangan for the second time as a kind of leaving thailand party.
We will hopefully update after the trip, depending on whether there is internet in the rainforest. So dont get too hopeful.
Gunna go pick up our laundry now.....mmmm...fresh.
From the us's.
