We just flew out of Taipei. It was unfortunatly raining ( or misting) the whole time we were there, however we were not going to let a little tropical storm ruin our trip. Our hotel was about one street-walker short of a brothel. I won't go into the state of the hotel room, but lets just say if I could have worn a full body condom I would have. We spent a short time in Taipei but it was enjoyable. We visited Sun-yat Sen's memorial building, which was educational. Then we walked to the 101 building (the tallest building in the world). Now I know what you are thinking " You two crazy kids didn't go outside, did you?" As a matter of fact, we did. We were infact the only (stupid) people out there. Ok lets see...how to explain?! Pelting rain, check. Ear poping/nausea insuing heights, check. Small car lifting winds, check. We of course survived the elements and got some great photos. The bad part was going down in the "worlds fastest elevator", that was my real weak point. I was very close to asking the woman next to me if I could use her purse as an air sickness bag. I assume she would have said yes.
