Hi everyone its amanda here,

so, Vietnam so far has been a blast, we are having a great time!! ha long bay was just awesome, it was so magical, swimming in the middle of these massive rock formations was just mind blowing, it was so sureal. was truly paradise. we did lots of swimming and kyaking and exploring of caves. as usual I have taken 400 photos in 6 days (literally) so lots of photos to see when we get back (slide night woo hoo!!)

the internet is really s*** here so its hard to upload photos, we are flat out blogging.

so on to the exciting news.....

picture this....ha long bay....2007.......the sun is setting and I'm getting a little nervous cause I really wanted to propose to Mandy on the boat, it was the perfect romantic time to do it, but the group was on the top deck of the boat socialising and drinking and I was trying to look for a quiet spot where the two of us could just sit for a while. so we managed so slip away from the rest of the group and we sat with our legs dangling of the back of the boat on the lower deck, watching as the sun set. the the massive rock formed mountains were luminous as the sky turned a dusky pink. then I took the (very expensive massive diamond) from my pocket and asked her to marry me....and to my surprise she said yes! WOO HOO!!!! LOL so she has made me the happiest slapper in the world!

It was a evening we will remember forever.

ok enough of the sapp stuff.

Just to rub it in to all of you....its 35 degrees on average aaaaah ha ha [insert evil laugh here] I hear you are all freezing your backsides off back home. we are suitably tanned, although i did get a little burt in places and on my hands from all the paddling in the kyaks (so much for a holiday, we've been working out every day! - nick will be happy!)

anyhoooo thats all I have to fill you in on....

hope you are all well.. I've just learnt that my sister finally had the baby today his name is flynn and weighs 6 pound 11 and aparently has a big head? welcome to the world Flynn!
