Hi everyone,

Well we made it in one piece, but only just. We had a samll transfer issue which resulted in us having to get off our flight in HCM , clear customs and then getback on the same flight- despite the Vietnam arilines people telling us it was a different plane. There were other aussies on the flight and we all agreed it was the same plane.

Amanda nearly cuase me to have gangreen in my hand due to squeezing it too hard on the ridefrom the airport. It took me aout three minutes to work out that despite it looking like complete chaos, there was actually a system to the roads. All the flashing andhorn pressing and tailgating was part of crazy dance between the cars, the buses and the millions of motorbikes. Amanda had good reason to think we were going to die - it was the scariest bit of driving i have ever witnessed - those who have been to Vietnam will know what we mean. I managed to transfer myself to a happy place by thinking about the fact tat the cars were mostly free of dints, the flashing and honking systems seemed to work and most likely our driver would lose his job if he killed us.

Ok, so after day two there is lots to tell, but this internt connection is so slow i think im going to kill myself (no neefor crazy drivers). Will try to find a better internt place and tell more later.
