Hi all Thought we better wrap up our San Fran adventures post Alcatraz. Kelly took us out to a gay bar in Okland called the White Horse and we then went on to a girl warehouse style party in the city called Unity. The crowd there was really diverse and lots of latino chicks who looked like they would rip your head off if you looked at them the wrong way. (too cool for school). It was a really funky crowd. Oddly enough the girl who was hosting the night and her stagehands bore an uncanny resmblence to some girls we know in sydney - spooky. Highlight of the night was a wet t-shirt competition - we'll fill you in personally when we get back if you want more details :) On Saturday Kelly put on a BBQ for us and invited over a heap of her friends - we met some cool people and debated gay rights and Mandy got a lesson in the US political system. We then headed back to the White Horse that night which was very similar to the Newtown or the Imperial - kind of divey but fun. Check out the pics of Kelly and Sarah and her friends Christian and his boyfriend Mark. On Sunday we said goodbye to Kelly and headed off to Banff in Canada. We sat in the airport delayed due to the fog - who knew there was so much fog in San Fran. Actually the weather there is really weird - lots of micro climates so in one place its warm and 5 minutes down the road its foggy and freezing.
