I'm home. The flight was much shorter coming back than leaving, perhaps because we got a head-wind and arrived home early. It wasn't a full flight but the bad thing was there was no vent to direct at your face and you could feel the dry air going around. Thankfully the flight attendants kept going around handing out water and apple juice. Immigration and customs were short work...it was waiting for your luggage at the Baggage Claim that took a long time. I thought Hong Kong was cold but as soon as you stepped out into that San Francisco Airport it was colder!
My parents picked me up at the curb and we went directly to my Aunt's house for thanksgiving. She cooked the biggest turkey I've ever seen! And it was only the five of them plus the three of us to eat all the food. My stomach was so full! I just slept all the way home. It is good to be home. I hope you all enjoyed reading about my trip as I did going on it.
There is plenty to be thankful for! I finally went on my missions trip and saw how they really live. The conditions, different culture, patience and love for the people they are ministering and the sweat and blood that goes into being a missionary and a light in a place like Cambodia and Thailand. Wow! It really made an impression on me on how much prayer and help they could use.
