Bonjour! I am officially in France! It has been an extremely long day having arrived in Paris at 3:30 am my time (9:30am their time) and then spending the day traipsing around the city. I suppose everyone says the same things when they visit cities but it really is the truth when they say Paris is beautiful. The architecture and the history along with the many many outdoor cafe's that you run into about every 5 steps keep your eyes occupied full time. It's kind of like Charleston on steroids and in another language. Very quaint yet busy and metropolitan. The thing I love about it so far is how everyone here seems to take time to make sure they slow down and delve into relationships with people. We walked through a park today and there were hundreds of chairs and benches and tables all filled with people just lounging enjoying themselves. Talking to one another or reading or whatever. It was surprisingly refreshing to see that as opposed to the manic daily rushing around that composes most of my life. Can't wait to share more but I'm tired and heading to bed. Au Revoir!
