We got up and away mid morning with an apparent 'need' to find a local Walmart here. Transport plan was agreed, we had day ticket in hand and walking to hit the Skytrain. A good system and we took the long version via a lot of stops to get where we were going. Got a good view of some outer suburbs and surrounds. Off the train and a quick walk and we found the store.
We have seen better but got what we needed. We had plans today that would require solid shoes for CB and sneakers were bought, plus some make up etc that was apparently cheap.
Loaded it all into the new bag picked up for EB and we retraced out steps to train and return on VCC line.
Dropped off at hotel and decided we had enough food in the house to save some lunch money.
Too relaxed and it was a bit late before we decided to start part 2 of the day - my initial plan.
TB and the girls haven't seen snow in the environment and I wanted to take them up to Grouse Mtn to have a play.
Worked out the buses and off we went initially retracing the route to Capilano. We knew where we were and connected to the 236 for delivery to the base car park.
Arrived and jumped off with a couple of snow boarders.
It was cool and they reported -2oC on top of the hill. TB was unsure about going up, a combination of the cable car ride and the expected cold.
It was approx 4pm by the time we decided we weren't going up the Mtn, and found the next bus home.
Disappointed the girls didn't take the opportunity for this today :(

Dinner supplies needed with TB & CB running over the road - quite convenient. I ran around to the wine shop for another bottle - a local drop this time from BC.
Enjoyed another dinner at home before a check of tomorrows departure plans.

I am meeting a couple of work guys tomorrow before we leave. Will make sure we are all packed and ready to roll before I go out.

Good day, will be good to see some decisiveness from the woman but no big deal.
