Day three of the whistle stop tour of the west of England 120 miles:
This blog arrives a day late due to lack of charge on my phone. So the morning started Leacroft camp site where we left at around 10.30 am once my phone had been charged up. Actually it also takes quite a while to pack up as it goes.
First we went to Sidmouth where we had to cross through a Ford - it was a little worrying as I wasn't sure how Sheila was going to take to it. I can gladly report that she took it in her stride. From there we drive through Exeter to Teignmouth where we had a little break. For the first time on this trip I had a little wander in the town and had a look in the little shops as well. After tha we went through Shaldon as a tribute to Sheldon - it just had to be done. From there we went to Babbacombe for a cup of tea overlooking the Combe. Very beautiful. Then we skipped off to Torquay. We just stopped to take a pic or two for the purpose of the blog. From there we proceeded to Plymouth. I decided that I needed to find a pitch for the night. Of all places we ended up in Brixton (I meant to take a pic with the sign when leaving but got distracted on the way out). Pictures will hopefully get posted later.
