Day two 100 miles:
I spent the night at the Arndale hotel in Poole. By the time we set off it was rather later than anticipated. The first destination for the day was Corfe Castle. I took the Dorset Belle, a steam train. After that I headed for Lulworth Castle. From there we proceeded to Lulworth Cove. Myself there visited the cove and after that I had a spot of lunch. Having just ordered lunch I noticed for the second time today that I must have left my keys in the ignition. I don't know what was wrong with me today but I seem to be keep forgetting to everything. Needless to say I was lucky and on neither occasion did anyone make off with Sheila. Phew!!! Anyway, just as as I was leaving the restaurant I got talking to the Lady from Dorchester. She recommended that I go and try and find a place between Lyme Regis and Sidmouth to stay. She recommended a campsite that was safe and had brilliant facilities.
From there I proceeded to Weymouth. I stopped in Weymouth at the beach because I absolutely had to take pictures of the puppet show the state Punch and Judy show. I didn't know they still did Punch and Judy shows any more. And I didn't know they were so so camp. Well at least this one was Judy could have been a drag queen. Actually Judy was a drag queen. From there I headed off to Bridport. A very pretty town where my friend Marilyn comes from. I checked out the birth home. My next stop was Lyme Regis, oh what a beautiful place. Truly delightful I could've stayed there for some time. However, it does now high time to try and find my piece for the night. So I headed to find lLeacroft campsite. Here for the first time I pitched my tent and may I add
successfully. My neighbours are cows. I have to say my 'bed in a bag' is very comfy. Far more comfy than the bed at the hotel last night. Anyway I'm off to have an early night so I shall be posting more tomorrow good night
