Day one 200 miles:
This morning we set off from London on our trip along the south west coast of England. Firstly we headed off to Brighton. When we got to there it was so so busy with day-trippers mostly from London. So we decided to bypass Brighton and headed west.
St Botolph's was very impressive but unfortunately there was a danger of it starting to rain so we didn't stop. Maybe on the way back.
At this point we were heading towards Bognor Regis it looked like we were heading towards serious thunder and lightning. Then as if by magic when we got to Bognor the streets were wet but the sun was shining. Here we took our first break. I had a little snooze on the beach and enjoyed the hot hot hot sunshine.
From here we headed towards chichester. In Chichester we had another break I had a little wander around Chichester which is very very pretty. I went to the cathedral unfortunately visitors were not allowed in for another hour. At this point I took the decision to carry on the journey. This took us to Christchurch. They had just had a carnival the day before. For this reason by the harbour they had a lovely little fair and music festival. So after visiting the Priory on the outside, I then went and chilled by the music and the little harbour. And then set off again and before we knew we were in Bournemouth. We had a little peek at the beach and from there we headed off towards Poole. It was now time to find somewhere to stay. I had plans to go camping in a place called Corfe Castle. However, time was getting on and it was starting to get dark. I decided to go to a place called Hamble which seemed to have a site. After getting to the site and I realised it was really purely just for caravan homes. So we headed back to Poole and ended up at the Arndale hotel. At this point it was 10 PM. Just time to have a shower call Murat and go to sleep. This is the end of day one of our trip.
