Oirschot has been a Brabant village for over 500 years. St Peter's church was built in 1268. Inside, there is a beautiful two- story carved pulpit, oil pantings and an impressive pipe organ. But this simple Roman style church pictured above is really what it's about. It has been here since the 11th century and holds an organ from 1751. The streets themselves have something to say. They are all cobblestone and brick that have seen centries of life come and come;come and go.
Oirschot was my afternoon. This morning, Luuk pimped my ride with a spiffy new lock and my very own saddle bags. Thank you, Luuk!! Today I rode about 15 k. It was perfect riding weather. I think I will stay local tomorrow. Get caught up on some work and get my head on straight for Monday....and give my sit bones a break.

Karen Maybe you should have gotten Luuk to pimp your ride with a cushier seat? ;-) It sounds like living in a little slice of heaven! Now if we could only figure out how to make the RV float....
