We took our biggest ride yet. We went to Orischot- about 9 k from our house. Go Mom!!!! We had a nice dry ride in;joking with each other about looking around and remaining OUT of the ditch. We had a look around the town and had a really nice lunch outside. Sine it didn't get about 65, it is surprising how comfortable we were. The heat lamps in the ceiling helped. We had a nice leisurely lunch and biked back. We tried to find the famed windmill, but never could. Maybe we would have continued to look but we have tender bottoms. Mom did fantastic!!! I think she really liked the idea and that she could so well handle the excursion. We laughed and joked and stopped in a little candy shop and make them struggle to tell us what everything was. Then we bought 4 pieces . She put them in a cite orange bad where they rattled around. Then we came home. Here is a pic of mom on the way home ( We stopped for water). It was a really nice day. Not exactly exciting stuff to read about but precious to experiece. Time in each other's company...doing nothing in particular. Mom is taking a nap now. I wonder if she'd notice a nibble from the Bosch ball in the fridge? She might notice the incriminating lipstick on the bag.
