I'm going Dutch! Or that was my proud thought yesterday when it started raining. I rode home one-handed with my umbrella in the other. Honestly, I was a little afraid. Sound silly? Well- only one hand for steering...the same hand for braking...and cars a foot from my thigh..and wet roads. I have a lot of respect for these people. I breathed deeply and evenly all the home- safe and sound.
This morning, it was also raining. Unfortunately, it was also windy and blew my umbrella inside out. On the bright side, it solved the whole one-hand concern. I think it is very practical to have no-fuss hair ...and waterproof makeup here. A bathing suit wouldn't be a bad idea either. I think people are a little affectionate and amused about the weather. It's really nice that no one complains. They just shrug and smirk. On the way home, the mist started drizzling and then out-right raining. I peddled faster. Honestly, I was beginning to think I might get soaked. Thankfully, the wind really started to pick up. The colar on my shirt was flapping like a pinwheel in Chicago. I got a shower and a blow-dry at the same time. Now who is smirking?

Jodi and Holly We miss you! Jealous of you so much:) Sounds like you might have been lying to me when you called to say how great the weather was. You made Stone's day--we found a horse DVD that you were getting rid of! We will be going through the cookbooks soon. All is well at the house. Talk to you soon!
