just had a great day in los angeles!!!

turns out not as bad as we first thought... today we took a bus (well three buses) from the hostel which is on hollywood blvd (the nasty end) to santa monica, we spent the day going around the shops checking out all of the famous american culture such as abercrombe and american eagle where i bought much needed flipflops. Before we had lunch at hooters we walked along santa monica beach, the water was freezing!

after asking at information we found a route back that would mean only taking one bus and a short walk. the bus took 40 mins and after getting off a couple stops too early we had to walk for an hour and a half down hollywood blvd, my feet still hurt.

finding the drinking age hard to cope with as there is nothing to do in the evenings, might try my fake ID out tonight! tomorrow we are planning to go to universal studios have no idea what to expect.
