We arrived in Auckland at 7:00 on sunday morning after a 12hour flight from LAX! after being incredibly polite to the guy at the check in desk he put us in the best seats in economy which was brilliant. as we were flying into auckland at 5:30 the sun was rising and the view was pretty amazing. had a very good day at universal studios despite the rain! it was much smaller than we thought it would be so we actually managed to go on every ride, we also took the studio tour and saw water world which was intense! got some great photos and videos that i'll be uploading soon. just had a great day in los angeles!!! turns out not as bad as we first thought... today we took a bus (well three buses) from the hostel which is on hollywood blvd (the nasty end) to santa monica, we spent the day going around the shops checking out all of the famous american culture such as abercrombe and american eagle where i bought much needed flipflops. LA!! not all its cracked up to be, it is dirty, tacky and boring, the hostel we are staying in is nice thou! cant wait to get to NZ.

at home and bored, just want to leave!!! tried to pack today, and it didnt go very well. My rucksack is incredibly heavy and i cant fit everything in!! so not so good, looks like im going to have to ditch some clothes!
