Just back from a great days fishing........

we were shaken out of our beds early this morning by a girl shouting 'help' in the carpark so obviously me fionn and mark jumped to the damzel's aid! Turns out some guy she had travelled up the coast with had grabbed her by the throat and tried to rob her bag. When we went out the 2 of them were pulling out of the bag and the guy was still threatening her. So us, being the complete heroes that we are calmly (!) told the guy to drop the bag and take a hike! The girl was very upset so we made sure she was ok before we set off for our day of fishing..

Unfortunatly we forgot it was a Sunday and its very hard to get booze on a Sunday so we had to go fishing minus the planned crate of cold beer. We met of boat captain Ben (total legend and totally mental) and other fishermen on Stokes Hill Wharf and headed out into the prefectly blue sea and sky. Fionn caught a very small trevaly and first time fisherman Mark caught a Shark and a blue salmon! I unfortunatly didnt get even a sniff of a bite and so have to buy the beers tonight! Ben kept us on the water for an extra 2 hours, free of charge and we came back into the Wharf watching the sunset.

The girls (as they should) cooked us a slap up fish dinner and our plan fo the night to watch the Manchester derby (come on City!!!!) and then Liverpool and Chelsea and have a fews beers....
