Disasterous start to the day! After Mark, Fionn and myself got up early, make sambos , got beer and walked down to the wharf to go fishing the sea was too choppy to go out! We probably should have realised this as there was no sun and a big breeze! So we asked a group of 9 guys who were ment to be fishing with us for a lift back to the main road. Turns out they were all the owners of an IT company and were celebrating the end of a successful financial year. They brought us to the World war 2 museum, which was really interesting. I had no idea that Darwin was bombed during World war 2 let alone that there were twice as many bombs dropped on darwin as there was on Pearl Harbour!

After the museum the lads took us to darwin Yacht Club where we were bought a slap up seafood meal, including croc, and told to drink what we wanted and to put it on the bar tab! They brought us back to the hostel afterwards where we polished off what remained of the 30 cans we bought that morning. As I'm sure you'll see from the pictures of us painting fionn and then the videos of various random girls waxing his legs we had a good afternoon! Mark then cracked out the guitar and we continued til the girls came back from shopping wondering what the hell had happened the 3 of us! The girls then convinced us that a bit of a nap would b a good idea before we went out for the night. Fionn tried to have a shower to get rid og the coloured zinc stick all over him but it turns out that zinc is waterproof so hes stuck with if for the moment! We all got up and the plan is to head to meet those guys from earlier and then go to So Co, a temporary club made entirley from unused shipping containers! Another chapter in a super random day.....
