We left Kanchanaburi on 23rd june and got the bus to Suphanaburi then onto Ayattaya we stayed at the Old Palace resort for 2 nights the first night lee wasn't too well so I sat in the outside lobby area of the Hotel and caught up on Facebook and emails. We hired a bike from the Hotel on the second day and just biked around lots of temple ruins struggled to find somewhere to eat so got back to the hotel and had lovely Thai chicken soup and green curry very tasty....

We have spent 5 fantastic days here after we originally only booked in for one night but fell in love with the hotel, people, food and the area we was staying in. From Ao Nang we got a bus to Surathani train station then we got on the night train to Bangkok. We was shown to a very small "first class cabin" and was excited about the journey ahead of us. We had been given a little bit of advice about not ordering food from your cabin but to go to the resturant cart and there you can socialise with other passengers, so we took that advice and wondered down to the resturant cart. Today 18th June we left Ao nammo our home for the last 9 weeks and house guests of Andy, Ingrid, Poppy, Wiggles and Chloe. We started our privileged journey here and planned our wonderful travels for the next few months. During our 9 week stay we both lost over a stone in weight each, we detoxed, sweated on bike rides, climbed over 1000 steps at Tiger Temple, walked for 3 hours on a nature trail and nearly killed ourselves taking photos sitting on a rock hanging...
