Today we weighed anchor about 0900 and left Culebra for San Juan.
The day was uneventful as we motored the entire way. It was the first day since we left Annapolis that we couldn't sail. But it was still nice.
We arrived at the Harbor entrance about 3:30pm and followed a huge cruise ship in.
Getting into our slip was a little tense because we had to go between two huge pilings.
After securing the boat, Peter went to the Club Nautico offices and took care of the paperwork. I fetched a Red Stripe from the fridge.
After showering, we walked the two miles through a high traffic, poorly lit, industrial section of town to finally get to Old San Juan. This is where the cruise ships come in and there are plenty of bars and cafes.
We found a side walk cafe just to have a drink and rest from our hike. Then we went up the hill and checked prices in several places until we found one that was reasonable. The food was in small proportion but it was good.
We took a taxi back to the boat and called it a night.
