Title: "Visitor From Space"
"Behold the fowls of the air; for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?"
Matt 6-26
Yesterday a Stormy Petrel landed on our solar panel. Mirko and I were amazed at how friendly it seemed. It wasn't fazed by anything we did. It just sat there preening it's wings.
This morning it was still on the boat. Sometimes it would fly off for a short distance, then come back to the boat. When Barry saw it, he told us that the only time you'll see a Stormy Petrol up that close is when it's dying. I found that very sad, but I was comforted by Matt 6-26.
At this writing, the Petrol is still with us but I can tell it is getting weaker.
It made me think, aren't we all just riding along in this big solar panel in space that we call Earth?

Kim Smith Instead of feeling sad that the bird was dying, think of how - in addition to feeding it, as promised by Matthew 6:26 - God also provided it with a place to rest. And of how it was memorialized in your blog!
