Figured out how to quickly get around Positano without using the stairmaster in the heat. We took the bus to take us back closer to our place from Piazza Mulini; this also allowed us to get familiar with the area.
Had our cooking class at Buca di Bacco with Chef Michele; he does not speak english so we had an interprter. We learned to make Pesto and basic Pomodor sauce, pasta dough, gnocchi, eggplant parmesano. we were served wine while cooking which makes it more fun! The course was very hands on and learned a few tips on how to prepare the base ingredients properly. After the cooking was done, we got to sample our efforts - very good food indeed! We had the restaurant to ourselves and sat at a table overlooking Spiagge Grande. Unfortunately, neither one of us were hungry because of all the sampling we did during class. They packed the rest for us to take home, which we plan to eat later. We had a few souvenirs given to us, including the bottle of wine that Laura insisted we take home with us. What a great day!
