New group...new adventure starts today. Had a pick up from base hostel at 7am. About 15 people in the new group and a tour guide called lucky :). Our bus was called mrs Bailey hehe. Today we were heading north upto paihia. New Zealand is no where near as big as oz and a lot shorter drives which is def a bonus. We started driving out of the city and the scenery was amazing. Today is a travelling day to New Zealand. 8am flight to Sydney then a connecting flight to Nz!! One long and tiring day. Got to my hostel in Nz abt 6.30. Not too late but my 4am start has tired me out. Shower and sort my stuff before heading to bed so I'm fresh for the start of my tour :)

My last day in aus and what better way to end it than doing more hikes hehe. First stop was at reeds lookout. Supposedly amazing views but all we saw was fog!! Was kinda funny!! We had another bus come from Melbourne to take us up to Grampions national park. These are the mountains part of the great dividing range starting up on the east coast. We stopped at the 12 apostles, loch and gorge, London bridge, bay of martyrs and islands. All rock formations as a result of erosion from the sea. First day of my tour from Melbourne to Adelaide. Not a good start with the weather. Pouring down with rain and cold. This was gonna be fun!! And indeed it was. Our first stop was in Torquay to check out bells beach. Famous for surfing and the 1st surfing school.
