We had another bus come from Melbourne to take us up to Grampions national park. These are the mountains part of the great dividing range starting up on the east coast.
We stopped at the 12 apostles, loch and gorge, London bridge, bay of martyrs and islands. All rock formations as a result of erosion from the sea. Some of them were pretty amazing and the stories behind them were cool too :) the weather was slightly better but still showering. Managed to get a bit of sun later on :)
We passed through warrnambool for lunch and then onto Grampions for a hike. I so love hikes....not lol!! The hike was to a spot called the pinnacle. I did make it up the mountain and to the top. Wasn't to scary but my sandals were getting slippy on the rocks so I was a bit slow hehe. Some parts of the walk were crazy!!! Hikes are hard work but always worth the views. Exactly what you imagine of Australia :) I definatly was gonna sleep well after that walk!!
We stayed at halls gap tonite which was at the bottom of the mountains. Had little lodges which were cool. We went kangaroo spotting at the lodge. There were sooo many. Saw loads with joeys in their pouches too. So cute!!! They just stare at you so lost!! Love them....especially the babies. Got two having a fight on video too hehe.
Was another early nite for 7am start tommorow :)
