Things didn't go quite to plan for us today as my friend got sick :( went looking for a docs in the morn and as usual the hostel gave us the wrong opening times!! We managed to see the doc later that morn and got some med I had my bridge climb later that afternoon which I was a bit nervous about but I did it :))) it was great. So many plans today but the rain had not eased up :( it was worse then yesterday. We had to do it though. So what can I say about this day apart from it was a 12 hr drive to Sydney. Not an ideal way to spend the last day of the tour :( Had quite a few stops on route for the toilet n lunch etc. Was raining soooooo bad all the way and in Sydney. Just wouldn't stop. Was hoping my wkend in Sydney would not be like this :( Most of the tour group was staying at the wake up hostel which was cool. Had a free day today in Byron bay to do what we wanted :) had a slightly later start to the day and had a walk around town. Headed back to the lodge to have breakie. A kinda early start to Byron bay :) a small stop at springbrook national park to see the natural bridge. Actually had to walk to see it hehe. Not used to this walking on the east coast.
