What a week!!!! Defo this has not been the best week i've had since I came away. I'll start the starts - as thats always a good place to start.
Started new job - NIGHTMARE - the worst bunch of trainers I've ever seen, make the Npower one's look like they've been to Cambridge, but some cool people there so got on with it. The wages are crap and they've done nothing but mess everyones hours up so at the moment I'm gonna be doin shifts which will earn me about 500-600 dollars a week, which is about 200-300 pound!!!! anyway!!!! AND there's no internet and no external emails!!!!!! GRRRRRRR
Anyway so that's work, grrrrr. Also Al's not been very well, he's been having problems with going to the toilet so he decided to go to the doctors and have a chat, after running some tests and having an examination on Tuesday, the doctor told Al that he thought he had INFLAMATORY BOWEL DISEASE! Hurrah!! He booked him in the next day for an emergency appointment with a Hospital on Wednesday to have further examinations, whcih turned out to be a camera up the bum and a camera down the throat - but rest assured, it wasn't the same camera - I asked! He went back for the preliminary results today and he has a very rare condition, which I wont even attempt to spell, he also had nodules removed from his bowel that could have turned into CANCER (this starting to sound familiar for anyone who remembers what went on with my dad??) and his bowel and stomach are extremely inflamed. He's been given medication for it and now we have to wait for the results from the Biopsies that the Surgeon took. As you can guess, Al isn't in the best of moods and in fact neither am I. He did actually consider getting to Sydney and heading home, but as his flight was today and now his ticket has run out, he can't. BUT that's not to say we might not be back sooner that expected. If the surgeon comes back with some bad news or needs to do more stuff then we will prob get a flight back home and use the NHS as that would atucally be cheaper in the long run than paying medical costs over here (Al's insurance company says the situation is serious enough for them to pay it!!!) So there we go, not the best week, I've been bricking it due to the similarities with what happened to Dad but hopefully things won't turn out that way!!
