Paris is amazing and you walk a lot. This morning Dad took Darcy and I to see Saint Chapelle while Mum went off to explore the Latin Quarter as she had already seen the Chapel. It is A Gothic church in the middle of the Palace of Justice and its walls are pretty much all stained glass. It only took 11 years to build and is Gothic. Afterwards we met mum at Notre Dame Cathedral which is also Gothic but took over 200 years to build. It was really dark inside. The photo is of the rear end of the cathedral and you can see the flying buttresses which help hold up the roof.
Then we walked over to the Lourve to see an installation of a forest made from cardboard which was pretty cool. On our way there we met a girl from Orange and she stayed with us for the afternoon as like us, she was just wandering. Then we walked through the gardens to Concordia to see the Egyptian needle but the best bit was the Nutella crepe we had there, it was delicious. Then we walked up the Champs Élysées which was being set up for the Tour de France and it is a very busy street, just like the song says. At the top is the Arc de Triumph which we climbed ( lots of steps which mum hates) and could see all over Paris. T did not come up and went to met her friend. We then walked back down the Champs Élysées and had a drink before walking all the way home. We stopped on our way and had dinner at a Thai place Nd I had the best ever spring rolls.
