Safe to say we all felt a little worse for wear this morning, dad couldn't wake the short drinkers up, they met us on the beach at around 11am and they looked like they had drunk a bottle each! (Sorry, haha!) they jumped on the sunbed and slept for around 3 hours with their mouths wide open, aunty Lynne had the ole snore and woke her self up which was pretty funny to watch her scare herself waking up! Haha.
I sat and took care of the fragile ones catching flies whilst the children went and played in the sea with the waverunner ball (best present I've ever bought!) after a whole the four of them disappeared until about an hour later all come running down the beach like a bunch of school boys. They'd only been jumping in all the infinity pools along the beach to see if they'd get chucked out by the security guard, and taking a pee in all the pools.
We all had a thai massage late afternoon, the men and women split up because there weren't enough beds in one for all 7 of us; us women had a posh one, posh being the beds are so tatty and the girls have matching uniform on with a clean towels for us (give or take a few reused ones throughout the day) mum and aunty Lynne fell asleep again I'm sure of it, they had a shoulder neck and head massage, they were being pushed and pulled in all directions, not as much as me though, I'm a sucker for the deep tissue massage especially with a thai woman and a strong pair of hands!
Met the lads afterwards, all feeling relaxed but giggling like school boys again! They couldn't find a massage hut empty enough for the four of them so they managed to get a few unused sunbeds and the masseuse to give them a massage on there. But there's always one... Uncle terry had a manicure and pedicure done! The photos show about five masseuses around him pampering him! That and a full body massage only cost him around £6 like he said 'he doesn't know when he will get the chance again!' Haha. Chickened out on the nail polish though, I'm sure a fushia colour would look lovely on him
Back to beach tonight to the same place as last time because the food was so good there!
Scott is scaring me.. He's trying new foods and he's eating shellfish! He tried lobster, squid rings and calamari the other day and tonight (drum roll please...) he's ordered king prawns in glass noodles! I mean you have to play with them and take their heads off and everything! He's getting all adventurous on this trip! It's a new Norm!
I have been dying to do a Chinese lantern since I arrived in India, so tonight I done one... Well I tried at least! He set it all up in the sand and lit it, but the wind was high so after about ten minutes of trying to fill it with air it blew across the sand and caught on fire, so it had to be put out! He didn't try another one though, he just walked away and waved! Haha.
Last night in Koh Samui tonight, it's been lovely but I think if the weather was better we would have enjoyed ourselves more!
