Took a day tour of Los Angeles on the Rasta Bus. There were about 18 of us on the bus and the driver was funny and informative. We would never have seen half the places he showed us if we drove ourselves. We saw the extremes from seedy Venice beach to 9210 Beverley Hills. We had a walk along Rodeo drive window shopping past the super expensive shops. Our guide pointed out the shop that had been mean to Julia Roberts in "Pretty Woman" and the Beverly Wilshire Hotel. Lunch was fantastic, he took us to the farmers market at Fairfax village where stalls sold food of all different types and cultures. We had Brazilian BBQ - absolutely delicious. The tour pointed out various film studios, famous theatres and music venues and ended in Hollywood. We saw the famous Hollywood sign from the Griffin Observatory , then along Hollywood Boulevard to see all the stars on the sidewalk and the hand and footprints outside the Chinese theatre. We had a great day and would recommend the tour.
