The nitty gritty side of things is now upon us.
Both Anth & I are now both starting to look towards tidying things up at work in preparation for two months away.

To complicate things a little further my employer is now relocating whilst I'm away and I have to confess to feeling a little bit bad that I wont be here to help. That being said, this means that I'm now doing double duty in making sure that I have done everything I can to help before we depart.

Some people have wondered how we can be doing this trip and what's involved. A brief summary below:

Anthony has long service leave so that is a big help in as much as all our neccesary committments are still being met financially whilst we are away plus a little bit extra.

We have been saving for a number of years and so have a nice little stash put aside specifically for this trip.

Additionally, I am very very very fortunate to have wonderful employers that have allowed me to bank much of my leave and to take it in an extended form. This to me epitomises good staff flexibility practices and I am very very grateful to have this opportunity.
