Vrgorac means "hilltop". It is the largest town in this region. We are high in the mountains and I don't know where they get "hill" from. Bruno Vodanovich , our very kind host, took us to see the Raca cave this morning. The cave is located on Raca Glava hill and it is a protected geomorphological monument. Jani and Miriam, a young Slovenian couple staying in the cove, also joined us. We left at 7 this morning to avoid the midday heat but it was still hard going.
