A jog for me up and down the strip, a sleep in for the girls and a tourist wander punctuated by shopp....... zzzz.... shopping.
the hotels are amazing. Caesars palace is just so huge! lots of roman street scenes with false skies - but these were a convincing early evening light. arcade after arcade, shop after sh..... zzzzzz
Great statues, buildings, fountains etc
we then booked our flight to the canyon then went for a late lunch 'eat to the death' buffet. Fantastic food. Crazy $4 bottomless Champagne served in pint glasses. we had to retire early because Sarah saw her shopping time being impacted by sloshed parents.
Wandered to the giant shopping centre next door for some more shopp..... zzzzz...... Currently stuck in a giant 'Forever 21' shop over two huge floors. Everything is oversized of course - best example was the 4 storey M&M's store, which was surprisingly good. it outshone the measly two storey coke shop next door.
an early night booked as we have a 6:15 pickup. Bus > Plane > Chopper > Boat > Chopper > Plane > Bus. 7 hours all up inc 3 hours sightseeing at the canyon.
