We've decided to stay here for about 3 weeks as the other places we wanted to visit are a bit wet as present (rainy season). It's really nice here - palm trees everywhere, nice beaches, quite a few things to see etc. Yesterday we took a drive to some of the sights with some people who are staying at our resort - first off we went to a 200 m waterfall. Standing at the bottom was amazing as the spray from the sheer volume of water was really powerfull and refreshing. Also went to a crocodile farm which wasinteresting - 1000 crocodiles hanging around, generally trying to eat each other at any opportunity. Some were about 3.5 meters long. There was a shop selling crocodile skin handbags, and a show where three men poked a crocodile with a stick to the theme of Hawaii Five O at which point we left! We also found an amazing beach in the north and had a few Singapore Slings (don't know of a Malaysian equivalent, but it's close enough!) in the island's most expensive hotel.Whoo! Get you!....
