Well we are stilli in Langkawi and have been enjoying some great weather the last few days. As I write this though we are in the middle of a tropical downpour which is pretty full on!

We have been doing some exploring the last few days. We went on an island hopping boat trip which included swimmimg in a huge freshwater lake, speeding around the islands on a 15ft wooden boat at a ridiculous speed and dangling our feet in a pool of hungry catfish! We also hired some scooters for the day and toured arounsd the island which was great fun! We got a bike each as I am crap at sitting on the back behind Wayne as I keep thinking I'll fall off when we go around corners! My bike was ace and I was zippin around but poor Wayne had a death trap with wonky steering which we discovered at the top of the highest mountain on the island! He had to try and make it all the way back down and then back to our beach which was a nightmare! But he managed it! We also stopped to see some monkeys on the side of the road and they were very friendly and inquisitive. Until Wayne made a sudden movement and they starting hissing and looked ready to pounce! We scooted off a bit quick!

We have a few more days here and then off to Malaysia!
