Arrived late in the afternoon and no space at the Wangi Falls campground for the trailer. So got to pitch the 'Fraser' tent again and slept under the stars as too hot to put up the fly.

The falls were only a short stroll from our campground so swam there several times. All decided one of the best swimming holes and a great place to relax on the grass to escape the winter heat.

Hiked down 135 stairs to reach Florence Falls and the plunge pool. Heaps of people here and surprisingly lots of huge black fish who happily swam around the crowds. Easy walk out beside the creek.

Once again entertained by the fauna, this time a bower bird. Izzy thinks the male and female birds are like Romeo and Juliette, never together at the right time. He was desperately trying to impress her rearranging the stones in the nest, dancing and singing to her. On our last morning they were seen flying wing in wing and he looked very pleased with himself.
