We had to get up at 12 o'clock for our trip. We got on the tourbus and had to drive for about an hour to a touristic temple thingy, which wasn't very interesting. Chantal couldn't really take anything in because she was quite hungover and it was really hot.
After that we drove to the famous floating market. The market wasn't what we expected. There were a couple of boats on the river selling seafood and other food. Most of the 'shops' were next to the river and nearly all the boats were just for tourists. We also went on one of those boats, which drove us out of the market where we could see the landscapes, a big angry looking black buddha and we could see how the people life next to the riverside.
After walking around the market for 2.5 hours we went on a boattrip where we could see the fireflies. We were a bit disapointed because all you could see were some sparkling trees. We expected to see the fireflies close up. After 2 or 3 trees it got a bit boring. We didn't quite understand how the chinese people had so much fun taking pictures of EVERY tree! Probably you can't even see anything on the pictures...
