Hi everyone

Issy here again. We have moved from one hostel in the Longji rice terraces to another, again just for one night. Tonight a Minority Cultural Show is being put on in our honour ! so that should be interesting. Pat and I have just had a lovely meal in a restaurant near our hostel, which is supposed to be better than the food in our own hostel.

It is very hot here although apparently much cooler than the summer. Glad we're here now is all I can say. We haven't got many clothes with us as we have left our big bags in a lockup back in Guilin - one pair of trousers for 3 very hot, sweaty days - lovely.

Tomorrow we head back for Guilin to get our bags, do some food shopping and then catch the overnight train to Hong Kong. This trip is nearly over and we can hardly believe where the time has gone. Soon we'll be on our own - aaaarrrrgghhh !! Then the fun will REALLY begin. We've had lots of tips from the "travellers" on our tour so we know we'll be OK. In HK we are meeting up with one of my ex-house mates so she is going to show us the sights, which will be useful, apart from it being nice to see her again.

So, signing off for now and we'll "blog" again as soon as we can get on a computer.
