So, now I have finally tried it, kitesurfing, and I feel awesome! One of the best experiences in my life, I would say!

Kitesurfing may be quite an unknown conception for many people as it's just quite a new sport, but it's coming more and more popular all the time. Kitesurfing is a sport that you don't need to be physically in very good shape, you just need to know how to swim and be a bit adventurous, good instructors will take care of the rest. So, I did my kitesurfing course with Tarifa Max kitesurfing school, which is one of the oldest one here in Tarifa (since 1998). I booked the semi-private course(two people with one instructor at the same time), which I would recommend if you're a beginner as you get more time to train yourself and the instructor have also more time to help you. Ofcourse if you're not loose with the money the private course is the best option for you, the more you get to train the faster you'll uppgrade your skills and be an independent surfer.

But lets get back to my course.. As I was totally beginner I started flying the kite on the beach. First with the small training kite, just to get the feeling about the wind. And when I felt quite comfortable with that, we changed the kite to the real one (four lines, and bigger kite).. At first I was a bit scared but after a while of training and with the good advices of the instructor (Mathieu), I started to learn how to control the kite and started to feel more and more enthustiastic about the sport.

After learning how to control the kite on the beach, on the next thing was to go to the water to do body dragging. My instructor was called Flavier and I have to thank her a big time as the wind conditions were quite hazard, so trying to bodydragg took me a really big effort, but she succeeded to push me to try again and again. She really gave good and helpuf advices which helped me a lot. So, what could I say... Now I'm just more and more eager to try kitesurfing again. Next time with the board... feeling a bit nervous.. but not that much...:D
