re: Summer in Tarifa, Andalucia, SpainTanja Hey Ian, great that you are interested in coming to Tarifa! About the accommodation I would recommend you the hostel called Pensión Facundo. It's located just in the middle of the town just in the main street (Batalla del Salado). I spent there a night when I came here and I can say that the rooms there are clean and in good condition. The staff is also friendly. Facundo is also low-budget choice. One night there costs between 14-20e, depending on your choice. Then about the kitesurfing. I did my course in Tarifa Max kitesurfing school, which is one of the oldest one in the area, (since1998). More info of them you can find in their website: http://www.kiteschooltarifa.net/ and from my next blog writing. The closest airport is in Gibraltar (only 40minutes drive), but most commonly used is in Malaga and from Malaga there are good connections to come to Tarifa by bus. Cheapest option is to take the bus from Malaga to Algeciras and the bus from Algeciras to Tarifa (the whole way is under 20 euros.)
