Nice to wakeup with no itenary and no hangover!

I thought I better reconfirm that we are staying an extra night. Slight problem...the night receptionist didn't quite understand my broken Spanglish. Our rooms been booked up but wohoo we get upgraded to a much nicer room but only space for 3. Sorry Devs you snoore...your out!

Weather here is gorgeous! So nice not be in our waterproof jacket and trousers.

Took advantage that John didn't start work for a few hours so we all went for a stroll around Plaza Espana with Andalucian tilework and grainy stone benches, tree lined paths, pretty fountains and monument to Spanish discovery of S.America.

Sugar fix- cake and coffee time followed by a very long stroll to huge Parque San Martin with over 500 hectares with an artificially irrigated forest as Mendoza was once a desert. Walked around Marley Hotses which is an exact replica of the one in Champs Elysees in Paris, El lago which is a 1000m long lake.

Stopped off for lunch by the lake where we had a cheese overloaded sandwhich. South American love their cheese so much so that we often ask for pizza with no cheese!

Back at the hostel, we made plans to go out with Yves (Swiss amigo) to Francesscos an amazing Italian restaurant recommended by John. We walked in dressed ghetto thinking it was going to be a standard Italian pizza restaurant...oops it was a super posh back straight restaurant. My gosh the food was ah-mazing and dessert even better.

Movie night round two! This hostal is sooo homely.

Oh crap! Forgot to give John earplugs for Devs snooring.
