Our trip to Greece was only a 36 hour trip but one that I will forever remember!

On our last day, as we were heading out of the country, we tooka detour and stopped at the Prison of Paul, a man imprisoned back in biblical times.

Acts 16:16-40 is the story of Paul & Silas' imprisonement.

An over view of the story and it's background go a little like this, The apostles and disciples of Jesus were regularly getting beaten and thrown into prison for their preaching work; a work that Jesus told them (and ALL Christians) to do (Matthew 28:18+19), as a way of spreading the good news of God's Kingdom. This instance was just a continuation of the same.(Revelation 2:10) Specifically, Paul had expelled a demon from a girl and the 'owners' of this girl were outraged because now she could no longer 'predict' the future, so they lost money.(Acts 16:16-24)

We read the scripture at the site, and we just took in the beutiful day and the amazing structures that still remained after 1000's of years! INCREDIBLE!
