My first day at the American English Academy has finally come to an end. So glad to be here, honestly. I am barely 16 and I have experienced so much life ALREADY. This time last year I was a Mount Tahoma Thunder Bird, 6 months later I became a Woodrow Wilson Ram, today I am an offical AEA Junior. I could have never invisioned this to be in my future simply 365 days ago. That is an insane thought for me!
School was quite interesting. Very different, to say the least. It's change, and that is something I love. It's new, it's fresh and definetly new experiences await.
Here's a brief overview of my day. I got a personal tour of the school from the oh so wonderful Lourdes. :) The school is literally a square shape, and it is one floor level, above another school. I have such friendly teachers, and staff members. They love to give me homework too. Hahaha. Thanks to mommy i was able to bring all the children & faculty members american candy! So obviously they loved me already. I'm pretty positive every one knows my name now, and they love to talk to me because I am from America. 100 & 1 questions! I love to talk so i'm not complaining :) Im my class, and i mean my GRADE, there are only 7 of us. Crazy. I come from class sizes of 30, PER CLASS PERIOD. I'll just get to know everyone, close and personally! Overall my day was good. I will have much more to talk about in the coming days. I'm just now getting back into the swing of school.
About Bulgaria, it is quite a sight. Today after school I was so exausted that I crashed right when I walked in the door! I needed that 1 hour power nap, sort of like a pick me up. I woke up from dreaming about food to a apartment that smelt divine! Lourdes, the cuttest little cook at been preparing dinner, spagghetti & a salad. She also made a apple like cobbler, but gluten free! It was a delicious meal. Josh & David came over to eat with us. The boys and I headed over to the gym thats super close! They made memberships, and I got a tour. I like it. It's very modern. It's multi level, and it has a beautiful view of the city. The guys working out aren't half to bad to look at either Me gusta! After that, we walked around the suburbs of the city. Josh gave me a bried tour as we walked and talked. They're pretty cool guys. We talked about ourselves, just all got more aquanted with one another. Feels good to have them around, people my own age, even though they are in the grade below me.
I'm off to bed now! But first, bible study <3 Feels so good to read God's word. I will be honest, I have never been one to pick up my bible and just start reading, and I realized that I need to get out of that habit. I want to better my life, in every area, and this is the best way. I have such a beautiful life, thank you to my wonderful creator. Another wonderful day awaits!
Au Revior moi! Xoxo. Micayla
